Pythagorion is a charming former fishing village of Samos, built on the southeastern side of the island. It is worth noting that near Pythagorion are the most remarkable sights of the island, such as the Tunnel of Eupalinos, the monastery of Panagia Spiliani, the castle of Lykourgos Logothetis and the Archaeological Museum.
Samaina Hotel is located near to the colorful life of the Pythagorion center and port. Different nice beaches are also located in walking distance. But – and you will really appreciate this “but” as a guest – the sounds of the outside world do not reach the inside of the hotel!

A few words about Samos
Samos is the birthplace of the Greek philosopher and mathematician Pythagoras, after whom the Pythagorean theorem is named, the philosopher Epicurus, and the astronomer Aristarchus of Samos, the first known individual to propose that the Earth revolves around the sun. It belongs to the North East Aegean Islands complex, located at a very close distance to the Turkish shore.
